Dr. Clement J.Felix was appointed as the Headmaster and Correspondent of the school in 1973. His public contacts were wide enough and he harnessed their good will and support for the school and its expanding programmes. Soon the school registered an all time high in every sphere in strength on monetary reserves, curricular and building results at Examinations, sports and games. The infrastructure of the school greatly improved. A swimming pool, an auditorium, the junior and Higher secondary hostels, library, NCC rooms and the MRF Pace Foundation were his contribution to the school. He paved the way for the starting of Britannia Amirtharaj Tennis School in School premises. He visited various countries and he used this opportunity to visit some well known schools which include schools for the special children, vocational centres and colleges.He laid down his office in 1992 after 29 years of distinguished service.
